Brda Rebula Masterclass: the best tastings
Few days after the MasterClass held by Luca Gardini at Vila Vipolze, we are happy to share the flattering feedback we received on our VISIVK, judged as one of the best drinks of the event: an interpretation in Jermann style of this variety which unites in one terroir the Collio and the Slovenian Brda, and which stands out for how well it expresses its inextricable bond to the land on which the grapes are grown. Definitely a bullseye.
In an extensive article, recently published on Gambero Rosso, Alessio Turazza defines VISVIK as a white wine, made with grapes that grow in Slovenia, that lives up to the high profile of the Jermann brand for it outstanding characteristics and personality, “on the nose it offers notes of aromatic herbs followed by hints of eucalyptus and maritime pine on a background of white stone fruit and ripe citrus. In the mouth it is pleasingly savoury with delicate flavours of fruit, lemony hints, and a balsamic finish.”
