Quality and sustainability certified ClimaHouse Wine

Jermann has officially become a ClimaHouse Wine certified wineyard.
Last year the famous wineyard in the heart of the italian Collio gained the precertification and now completed the procedure receiving the certification ClimaHouse Wine.

Local authorities and the main experts in the field of sustainable innovation attended the conseignement event. The certification ClimaHouse Wine is given exclusively to wineries that fulfill the highest ecological, socio-cultural and economic standards. The evaluation process analyses the ecocompatibility and energetic efficiency of the buildings, but also the level of well-being in public and working spaces. Moreover, it evaluates the consumption of resources involved in the vinification process and the choices regarding packaging as well as the environmental impact of transportation and the economic aspects regarding transparency in management.

On the occasion at the winery Jermann was held a round table about innovation and sustainability in the viticultural and winemaking business.
