Felice Clemente is one of the top names of international jazz and often mentioned in the major music magazines. He has important collaborations with artists around the world and for the past ten years he has played with Argentinian “expressive and pictorial” guitarist, Javier Pérez Forte, who adds his own tango, South American folkloristic mark to their music. Following an formidable tour between New York and Boston, the duo confirmed the success of Evolución – their most recent work – affording it a recognition as “Album of the Month” in “Musica Jazz” (last march), the only Italian album selected by this major music magazine. An album, this, which celebrates a decade of a duo who can boast three albums together and hundreds of concerts. “Traveler, your footprints are the only road, nothing else. Traveler, there is no road; you make your own path as you walk” to use the words by Antonio Machado. The duo use the same expression to describe the path they have followed changing pace each time”.  After Escaleras and Aire Libre, Evolución is yet another step forward, to be enjoyed without analyzing styles too much, but rather taking in the music as something different from the previous works.
