Our cultivated crops are concentrated on seeded crops and some horticultural crops (beans and peas) on land in Moraro, Farra d’Isonzo and Dolegna del Collio.
The company began using the organic method in 2005 and, after a two-year changeover period, we were awarded certification under the CEE 2092/91 directive, now replaced by the 834/2007 and 889/2008 directives.
The company's cultivated area using the organic farming method is approximately 18 hectares.
Our line of organic products is key to a safe and healthy nutritional lifestyle, and is in line with the recommendations issued by the principal organisations working to prevent the most common chronic illnesses. They recommend a diet including plenty of pulses and starchy foods, unrefined or lightly refined (cereals if they are not heavily refined, wholemeal bread etc.).
